Howl's Moving Castle

Spring 2026

This construction project is a bespoke garment inspired by the character Howl from the Japanese animated fantasy film “Howl’s Moving Castle” by Hayao Miyazaki. This piece incorporates entirely self‑made fabric, allowing me to explore surface design, textile creation, and character‑driven costume interpretation.

This piece is constructed of two jacquard fabrics sewn together in a harlequin pattern.
