Midsummer Night's Dream

This costume is inspired by Titania, Queen of the Fairies, from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The corset is pattern drafted from a historically accurate Elizabethan pattern featured in Janet Arnold’s Patterns of Fashion. It is paired with slashed sleeves and a softly draped skirt. The main fabric is an up‑cycled curtain textile, finished with hand‑sewn bias binding.
