West Side Story

This garment was created for my first university project and is inspired by the character Anita from West Side Story. Through this project, I developed key technical skills, including pattern alteration and an understanding of the properties and behaviour of different fabrics, applying these insights to enhance both character interpretation and garment construction..

This garment was made using a cotton/rayon blend fabric with a red satin trim.
